LOCAL LEADERSHIPCOVID-19 has taught us that local leadership matters.
The challenges of Covid-19 have shown us that the decisions of local leaders can have a profound impact on our lives. The times demand thoughtful, dedicated, and diligent school board members who will work together to chart a course through the pandemic.
But we shouldn't lose sight of the bigger picture.

Olathe Schools deserve board members who will dedicate themselves to the totality of the job. As critical and time-consuming as managing the response to Covid-19 has been, it has not been at the expense of all the other decisions involved in running an organization with a +$500 million dollar budget and charged with meeting the diverse educational needs of 30,000 students.
It's a big job, it's a demanding job, and it's critical we elect the person who will do it well.
Kristin Schultz is that person.
Through her long-time involvement as a parent, an advocate, and a leader in the Olathe School District, Kristin Schultz has shown herself to be the attentive, experienced, committed board member we need.

Kristin is a close friend and has been paying deliberate attention to the Olathe School District for over a dozen years, going back to 2009 when I was first elected to the Board of Education. She was always willing to serve as a sounding board and gave me wise counsel on many an occasion. ATTENTION. |
